There are a number of telescopes that bring the universe and the night as well as the day sky above Prague so much closer. The most popular of these is the largest telescope with three refractors nestled right under the main dome. The observatory is a great place to learn lots of new things because there are professionals who provide commentaries as you stargaze at space objects. The basement of the building offers a permanent exhibition focusing on astronomy. And if you are a really inquisitive visitor, you might look forward to films and popular science programs and presentations. Last but not the least, the observatory also boasts a library featuring over ten thousand books for you to enjoy.
