Like Christmas, Easter, or “Velikonoce” are the most interesting Czech holidays full of traditions which gives them its charm 
Many of the customs and folk traditions are still observed and practiced, especially in villages. 
Boys are most of all looking forward to Easter Monday when they go caroling and symbolically whipp girls with “pomlázka” so the girls are healthy and fertile. 
The girls reward the caroler with a hand-decorated egg and chocolate
